Robert F. Ford

Ford, Robert F. of Holbrook, NY on October 24, 2020 in his 85th year. Devoted husband to the late Catherine. Loving father to Mary Locascio (Dennis), Frederick Ford (Kelly), and Catherine Bellomo (Mario). Adored grandfather to Katie (Marc), John, Brian, TJ, Phil, Bobby, Michael, and Tommy. Beloved brother to Frances Cole and the late Marylou Moroney (Tom).
Robert was a proud United States Army Veteran who served his country during the Korean War. He spent 20 years as a firefighter with F.D.N.Y. Ladder 42 serving the City of New York. He was president of St. Vincent De Paul Society at St. John’s Nepomucene Church for many years donating his time to the families in need. Robert’s smile was infectious and his quick wit and sense of humor kept everyone excited. He will be forever missed.
Reposing Moloney’s Bohemia Funeral Home, 1320 Lakeland Avenue, Bohemia, NY where a religious service will be held Thursday. Funeral Mass Friday 10 AM at St. John Nepomucen, Bohemia, NY. Interment Private, Calverton National Cemetery. Visiting Thursday 5-9 PM.
